After checking out the Emirates Lounge, it was time to fly business class from Bangkok to Dubai.
I departed the lounge, and walked through the very impressive terminal at Bangkok Airport.
Boarding had just begun, so I loaded myself up into the business class cabin of the 777-300ER. Unlike my flight from Cairo to Dubai, this plane had a first class cabin. Those seats are exactly the same as the ones on board the A380, but the cabin doesn’t have a shower or a bar area.
The seats were exactly the same as on board my previous flight on this type of aircraft.
I had a glass of champagne on the ground, but once airborne, I went with the Manhattan.
The menus on this leg-
My appetizer was served first. I went with the cream of asparagus soup.
Next, my main, where I went with the stir fry.
It wasn’t the worst meal I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t necessarily the best meal I’ve had in the sky either.
For dessert, I had the cheese plate.
Overall, I had a great flight. It was a longer one, so I definitely missed my fully-flat seat from the A380. Though, I was surprised how little it actually bothered my sleep patterns. After a few more Marvel movies, it was time to land in Dubai. Fast track passes were again passed out, and it took me no time to clear security again. I was off to the Park Hyatt Dubai!
