I was excited to try out British Airways’ Club World on a plane that featured different seats than normal. The seats are holdovers from BMI, which British Airways bought a short time ago.
I had to check my bag because of Britain’s laptop ban. The hassle at the gate required me to be one of the last to board.
I had Seat 1A, which was a “throne” seat. The amount of space was awesome.
There were no pre-departure beverages offered, but we did get the standard Elemis amenity kit.
Menus were also distributed.
I went with the traditional English Breakfast for my main. I was eager to finish it, and get to sleep, since I didn’t get much the night before.
After that, it was lights out for me. I woke up just before landing.
