What To Know Before Sailing on Disney Treasure

I sailed Disney Treasure in October 2026 and filmed a full ship tour for my YouTube channel, Jackson Jetsetting. This guide covers what I would tell a friend before their first sailing on her, from the reservations you need to make months ahead to the lounges most families walk past on the way to dinner.

Watch my full seven-night Disney Treasure review before you read on. The written guide below goes deeper on the planning side.

Disney Treasure is the second ship in Disney's Wish class, following the Disney Wish. The layout is close to her sister's, but the theming is new from bow to stern. The adventure theme runs through the Grand Hall, the dinner shows, and even the bars, and Plaza de Coco takes the place of the Wish's Arendelle as the new rotational dining room.

For context on where she sits in the fleet, my Disney ships by size breakdown lines up all of the line's ships side by side.

Booking Tips for Disney Treasure

Disney Treasure sails 7-night itineraries, so the price jump over a Dream-class short cruise surprises people. Look at the full fare with taxes and gratuities before you compare her to anything else, and read my guide to what a Disney cruise costs for the line items that get added later.

Stateroom choice drives the price more than the itinerary. A verandah room in the middle of the ship is the sweet spot for most families, and the family verandah categories add space for a fifth guest. My Disney Treasure cabins guide covers the categories I would book and the ones I steer people away from.

With Disney, most of the value in booking through me sits around the fare itself. My pricing is the same as booking direct, I watch for promotions and onboard credit that the cruise line's website does not always show, and you get one person to call if a flight cancels on your way to Port Canaveral.

Disney Treasure Pre-Cruise Planning: Reservations to Make Before You Board

Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you sail. Once your cruise is paid in full, the "My Plans" section shows the date your booking window opens for port adventures, adult dining, beverage seminars, and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique sessions.

Disney opens those windows by loyalty level. Concierge guests submit requests at 130 days and can book online from 123 days, Pearl members 123 days, Platinum 120 days, Gold 105 days, Silver 90 days, and first-time guests 75 days. My Disney Castaway Club guide explains how those tiers are earned.

On Treasure, I would book in this order: adult dining at Palo Steakhouse or Enchanté if you want them, then port adventures, then spa time and nursery hours. The adult restaurants on this ship are small, and the good nights go first.

Pro Tip: Set a calendar reminder for the morning your window opens. Families who wait a week often find the brunch and dinner times they wanted already gone.

Disney Treasure Embarkation Day at Port Canaveral

Disney Treasure sails from Port Canaveral, and the line assigns each party a port arrival time during online check-in. Arriving earlier than your time does not get you on the ship faster, so plan the drive or hotel shuttle around it. My Port Canaveral embarkation guide walks through the terminal process, and my roundup of Port Canaveral cruise parking covers the garage and lot options.

Once aboard, you are announced into the Grand Hall on Deck 3. Register kids for the clubs on Deck 2, check your dining rotation in the app, and save the pool for later in the afternoon when the first-hour crowd thins out.

Disney Treasure Deck Plans

Treasure follows the Wish-class layout. Public rooms sit on Decks 1 through 5, staterooms fill Decks 6 through 10, and the pools, casual dining, adult restaurants, and AquaMouse take up Decks 11 through 14. My Disney Treasure deck plan guide goes deck by deck and shows where the noisy and quiet zones fall.

Walking Disney Treasure: The Main Areas

My complete Disney Treasure ship tour walks every public deck, so start with the video if you want to see the spaces before you read about them.

The Disney Treasure Grand Hall

The Grand Hall is a three-story atrium with a spiral staircase, a stage, and a large statue of Aladdin, Jasmine, and the Magic Carpet at its center. Character meet-and-greets and short stage moments happen through the day, so it gets busy before dinner seatings.

Disney Treasure Lounges on Deck 3

Deck 3 is where Treasure feels most like a Disney park. Skipper Society is themed to the Jungle Cruise and serves cocktails, coffee, and waffles. The Haunted Mansion Parlor is the first Haunted Mansion bar in Disney Cruise Line history, with moving portraits and ghosts in the mirrors. Scat Cat Lounge is an Aristocats piano bar. All three welcome families during the day, which makes them easy to visit with kids.

Disney Treasure Deck 5 Venues and Senses Spa

Deck 5 holds Periscope Pub, themed to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, along with the Mulan-themed Jade Cricket Cafe, the two-story Lion King lounge Sarabi, and Senses Spa. The spa's Rainforest Room carries a separate fee. Covered promenades with loungers run along both sides of the deck, though they do not make a full walking loop.

The Disney Treasure Pool Deck and AquaMouse

AquaMouse is the water coaster that loops around the top of the ship, with an on-ride Mickey and Minnie short built around a golden egg. Younger kids have the Toy Story Splash Zone and the Slide-a-saurus Rex slide, and adults have Quiet Cove, an adults-only area with an infinity pool aft on Deck 13.

Disney Treasure Kids Clubs

Disney's Oceaneer Club on Deck 2 includes Marvel Super Hero Academy, Star Wars: Cargo Bay, an Imagineering lab, Fairytale Hall, and Mickey and Minnie's Captain's Deck. Toddlers have the "it's a small world" nursery, tweens have Edge, and teens 14 to 17 have Vibe. My guide to cruising with kids covers how the clubs work across the line.

Dining on Disney Treasure

Disney uses rotational dining, so your table moves between the three main dining rooms on a set schedule. On Treasure those are Plaza de Coco, with two different Coco shows on different nights; Worlds of Marvel, which runs Avengers: Quantum Encounter and a Groot-themed show; and 1923, an Art Deco room that honors the founding year of the Disney studio. All three are included in your fare.

Breakfast and lunch are at Marceline Market aft on Deck 11, with quick-service counters for barbecue, tacos, pizza, and burgers on the pool deck. The adults-only restaurants, Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté, carry a surcharge. My Disney Treasure restaurants guide covers every venue and what I would prioritize, and my Disney what's included post explains which drinks and snacks cost extra.

Disney Treasure Entertainment: Shows Worth Planning Around

The Walt Disney Theatre seats about 1,274 and runs three main productions: Beauty and the Beast, Disney Seas the Adventure, and The Tale of Moana. Show times are tied to your dinner seating, and the app tells you which performance to attend.

The two cinemas, Wonderland and Never Land, show Disney films, and the big screen over the pool deck, Funnel Vision, runs movies and sporting events. Pirate Night ends with fireworks.

Pro Tip: Treat the dinner shows in Plaza de Coco and Worlds of Marvel as part of the entertainment schedule. Missing a rotation night means missing that show.

A First Sea Day on Disney Treasure

On a sea day, I would start with coffee at Jade Cricket Cafe on Deck 5, then ride AquaMouse before the line builds. Late morning is a good time for Skipper Society and a waffle, and the early afternoon works well for the spa or Quiet Cove while younger guests are in the Oceaneer Club.

Save Scat Cat Lounge for the hour before dinner. It is a short walk from 1923 and the theater, so a drink there fits neatly between a show and your seating.

Disney Treasure Staterooms

Treasure has about 1,250 staterooms, from 169-square-foot inside rooms to the Tomorrow Tower Suite, an EPCOT-themed penthouse in the forward funnel at 1,966 square feet. Oceanview and verandah rooms use a split-bath layout with the toilet and sink in one room and the tub and second sink in another, a detail parents of small kids appreciate.

Concierge guests get priority boarding, a dedicated concierge team, and access to the concierge lounge and its private sundeck. My full breakdown of Disney Treasure cabins covers every category, the best rooms, and the ones I would avoid.

Disney Treasure Itineraries for 2026 and 2027

Disney Treasure sails 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries round trip from Port Canaveral through late 2026 and into 2027, and Disney has confirmed the same pattern for summer 2027. Most sailings include a day at one of Disney's private destinations in The Bahamas. My guides to Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point cover what to do on each island.

If you are flying in, book a hotel the night before. My list of hotels near Port Canaveral covers which ones run a cruise shuttle. I book the hotel, parking, and cruise as one trip at no extra cost to you.

Five Tips I Give Every Client Sailing Disney Treasure

  1. Book adult dining the morning your window opens. Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté are small rooms, and they fill quickly on 7-night sailings.
  2. Pick a midship stateroom between Decks 7 and 9. You stay close to the elevators without sleeping under the pool deck or over the Deck 5 lounges.
  3. Visit the Haunted Mansion Parlor in the afternoon. It is calmer before dinner, and families can go in together.
  4. Do not skip Deck 5. Periscope Pub, Sarabi, and the covered promenades are among the calmer public spaces on a sea day afternoon.
  5. Pre-book the nursery and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique if you need them. Both use the same booking window as port adventures.

Disney Treasure Review: Frequently Asked Questions

Is Disney Treasure the same as Disney Wish? They share a layout, a class, and a size, but the theming is different. Treasure has Plaza de Coco in place of Arendelle, the Haunted Mansion Parlor and Skipper Society lounges, and a Grand Hall themed to Aladdin. My Disney Wish review covers her sister ship.

Where does Disney Treasure sail from? Port Canaveral, Florida, on 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries through late 2026 and summer 2027.

Is Disney Treasure good for adults without kids? Yes. Quiet Cove, The Rose, Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté, and the Deck 3 lounges give adults plenty of space, and the kids clubs keep younger guests busy for much of the day.

How many dining rooms does Disney Treasure have? Three included rotational dining rooms (Plaza de Coco, Worlds of Marvel, and 1923), plus Marceline Market for breakfast and lunch, the pool-deck counters, and two extra-cost adults-only restaurants.

Is Disney Treasure bigger than Disney Dream? Yes. Treasure is a Wish-class ship, larger than the Dream-class ships. My Disney Dream review explains what you get on the older class.

Booking Disney Treasure With Jackson Jetsetting

Disney Treasure is the ship I would pick for a family that wants a full week from Port Canaveral, two dinner shows in the rotation, and lounges themed to the parks. My pricing is the same as booking direct, and I can often add group rates or promotions the cruise line does not show online. You also get a person to call when plans change. Send me your dates, and I will price out Disney Treasure, the hotel the night before, and parking as one trip.
