Royal Beach Club Paradise Island Guide: Prices, What Is Included, and Whether It Is Worth It

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is Royal Caribbean's paid beach club in Nassau, and it opened to cruise guests in late December 2025. Unlike Perfect Day at CocoCay, it is a separate ticket: you buy a day pass, take a short boat ride from the Nassau cruise pier to Paradise Island, and spend the day at a club with two beaches, three pools, and food and drinks covered by your pass.

The pass is priced dynamically, so the same day can cost very different amounts depending on your ship and date. For some travelers it is the easiest Nassau day there is. For others, the same money buys a better day in town. This guide covers what the pass costs as Royal Caribbean publishes it, what you get, and how to decide.

What a Royal Beach Club Paradise Island Day Pass Costs

When bookings opened on July 1, 2025, Royal Caribbean listed the all-inclusive passes at $169.99 for guests 21 and older with alcohol, $129.99 for guests 13 and older without alcohol, and $109.99 for kids 4 to 12. Children 3 and under are free. The line said prices change with seasonality, and in practice the price on your sailing depends on the ship, the date, and demand.

As of October 2026, prices on some sailings have been reported well below the launch figures, and there are reports of a cheaper basic pass on some sailings that covers transportation and beach setup, with food and drinks bought separately. I would treat that basic pass as a test until it appears in your own Cruise Planner.

Pro Tip: Because the price moves, check it in the Cruise Planner as soon as your booking is in, then again a few weeks later. If it drops before you sail, you can often cancel and rebook at the lower price as long as the cancellation window is still open.

What the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island Pass Includes

Royal Caribbean lists round-trip water transportation, beach games, Wi-Fi, umbrellas and loungers, lockers, and towels on every all-inclusive pass. Food comes from three beach grills, and the menu runs to beach-club staples like lobster BLT wraps, crab cake sandwiches, shrimp skewers, and soft-serve ice cream. Drinks depend on your pass: the adult pass covers the bars, and the non-alcoholic pass covers sodas, juices, and mocktails.

Everyone in a cabin does not have to buy the same pass, which helps families with teenagers. A couple can take the adult pass while a 15-year-old takes the non-alcoholic one. If your ship's drink package is in play, compare it before booking, since Royal Caribbean has offered bundle pricing for package holders on some sailings. My Royal Caribbean drink package guide covers how the onboard package works.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island Beaches, Pools, and Areas

The club is split into three areas with different moods. Chill Beach is the quieter, more adult side. Party Cove has the DJ, the pool parties, and The Floating Flamingo, which Royal Caribbean bills as the world's largest swim-up bar. Family Beach has the shallow pools and calmer water that suit younger kids.

There are two beaches and three pools in total, three swim-up bars, and seven beach bars, plus live music and artisan shops. It is a compact site compared with CocoCay, so it fills up when several Royal Caribbean ships are in Nassau on the same day. Loungers go first in the shaded spots, and the best way around that is arriving early.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island Cabanas and Upgrades

Cabanas include beach and poolside cabanas, a two-story Ultimate Family Cabana with its own slide and a frozen drink machine, and a second-floor Party Deck for up to 12 people. Cabana prices include the day passes for the people in them. As of October 2026, reported cabana prices run into the thousands of dollars, with the largest options near five figures on busy dates. Daybeds cost several hundred dollars with two passes included, and the Party Deck sits in the mid-range of the cabana pricing with up to 12 passes.

For a group of 10 to 12 adults who were going to buy the alcohol pass anyway, the Party Deck math gets closer than it looks at first glance. For a couple, a daybed is the only upgrade I would consider, and only on a day with several ships in port.

Getting to Royal Beach Club Paradise Island From the Nassau Pier

The boats leave from the Nassau cruise port, and the ride across the harbor is short. Getting off the ship, walking to the boats, and reaching the club can take around 45 minutes on a busy morning, and the return drop-off point has been on the opposite side of the pier from pickup, which adds a walk of about 15 minutes back to your ship. Build that into your all-aboard plan.

Who Should Book Royal Beach Club Paradise Island

The pass makes sense for travelers who want a resort-style beach day without planning anything in Nassau. If you would otherwise buy a resort day pass, pay for a taxi, and buy lunch and drinks, the all-inclusive price compares well, especially at the lower dynamic prices. Families with kids who want pools, and groups who plan to drink, get the most value.

It also suits travelers who are not comfortable wandering a busy port on their own, since you go from ship to boat to club with Royal Caribbean handling the logistics.

Who Should Skip Royal Beach Club Paradise Island and See Nassau

If you drink lightly, the adult pass is hard to justify at the launch price. Light drinkers and anyone who has already done a resort beach day might get more out of the city itself: Fort Fincastle and the Queen's Staircase, Junkanoo Beach, a food tour, or a snorkel trip. My guide to things to do in Nassau on a cruise covers the walkable sights, and my list of the best Nassau cruise excursions covers the boat trips. You can compare tours and prices on Viator.

If your itinerary also includes Perfect Day at CocoCay, I would think twice about paying for two beach club days on a short cruise. CocoCay gives you a full private island, and the news on Hideaway Beach at CocoCay covers its own adults-only paid area.

How to Book Royal Beach Club Paradise Island

Passes are sold in the Cruise Planner on royalcaribbean.com and in the Royal app once your cruise is booked. Every person in your party needs a pass, including kids. When you book through Jackson Jetsetting, I can add the passes to your reservation alongside the cruise at no extra cost to you. Book early: the price can move in either direction, but the cabanas and daybeds are limited in number. If you are planning the cruise itself, my breakdown of what a Royal Caribbean cruise costs shows where a beach club pass fits in a realistic budget.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island Compared With Other Private Islands

Royal Beach Club is a different product from the private islands, since it is a paid add-on in a regular port. My ranking of cruise line private islands shows where it lands, and the new guides to the Eleuthera private beach Princess built, Half Moon Cay, Great Stirrup Cay, and Ocean Cay cover the rest of the Bahamas lineup.
